Emco’s High Density Polyethylene Group
The core of Emco’s HDPE group was formed when Emco acquired Sandale Utility Products in 2003. Sandale was originally established in 1990 primarily as a supplier of polyethylene pipe and fittings to the natural gas market and was located in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Alberta. Since the acquisition, Sandale has expanded into 10 locations and provides products to a variety of markets such as industrial, municipal, environmental, telecommunications, gas gathering and gas distribution. In 2004 Emco Corporation acquired Vari-Tech in Liverpool, NY www.varitech.com adding two US locations in New York and Massachusetts to the Emco HDPE group. Varitech has now expanded to add locations in New Jersey and Texas.
Polyethylene pipe still remains our specialty however; the Emco/Sandale group also carries a variety of other products and provides services related to polyethylene pipe and pipe fusion.
We have the experience and the ability to handle both domestic and international projects. Our products and services have been supplied to projects around the world such as Africa, South America, Indonesia, Russia and India.
