Company History
Emco’s entry into the Irrigation industry was facilitated by the acquisition of Van-Kel Irrigation in the fall of 2006. We then acquired the residential and commercial irrigation business of Oak Creek Golf & Turf Inc in 2007. This allowed Emco to develop a network of branches across Western Canada to service the Res-Com Irrigation contractor market. Operating under both the Van-Kel Irrigation and the Emco Irrigation names we have dedicated irrigation staff on hand to meet your needs at the locations below. Emco/Van-Kel is the Authorized Toro distributor across Western Canada. We also sell Rainbird Res/Com irrigation products in the province of British Columbia. In Regards to Central control systems, Emco/Van-Kel employs some of the most knowledgeable staff in North America. A brief description of our Sentinel control system by Toro is outlined at the bottom of this page.

Sentinel Control System
This powerful, yet simple-to-use software is ideal for large sites such as cities, business parks and school districts as it allows a user to control up to 999 field satellites from a remote location with a desktop or laptop computer.
